WHAT IS NADA?
NADA is a recovery model based on ear acupuncture.
It typically uses 5 Chinese points in the ears, 5 points on the scalp and one point between the eyebrows. NADA is a toning method, i.e. a balancing method, so there are the same number of needles in the right and left ear and in the same points.
NADA can be used for many things and has been shown to have a good effect on, for example:
- Stress
- Being able to put emotions into words
- Anxiety and fear
- Mental and physical anxiety
- Insomnia
WHERE CAN NADA BE USED?
The NADA model is mainly used by therapists as a supplement to their primary client offering.
The acupuncture method is used in hospitals as well as in the primary sector. It can be addiction treatment, hospitals, refugee camps, social psychiatry, crisis therapy, shelters, shelters, women’s centers, job centers, correctional services, etc.
The NADA method enhances the effect of other therapeutic methods and is therefore also used in connection with therapeutic conversations, group therapy, bodywork, hypnotherapy, etc.
The NADA model is used in around 20 countries in Europe and on all continents
HOW DOES NADA ACUPUNCTURE WORK?
Ear and other forms of acupuncture regulate the body’s hormones and transmitters as known from modern medicine. Therefore, acupuncture can be used to treat conditions such as withdrawal, stress, anxiety and sleep problems.
However, the NADA method can only be partially explained by modern medicine. It must first and foremost be understood in the light of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It is this model that best explains why ear acupuncture using the NADA model, among others, can help clients with personal development, articulate emotions and get much more out of therapeutic and other treatments
NADA is seen as a side-effect free method.
