There is only one way to quit smoking:
You have to decide that you want to quit smoking completely. Have you reached the stage where one of two things happens and you say to yourself: “I’m done smoking and I’ll never smoke again,” or “I’m done smoking, but I need help to become completely smoke-free”?

*Our one-on-one session at the hypnosis clinic will help you erase the “automatic” desire to crave another cigarette. With our hypnosis program, you will find that you will even be a happy non-smoker.

You won’t miss, feel pain or feel like you’ve sacrificed anything in your life when you quit smoking and become smoke-free. Instead, you will experience a huge sense of relief and joy that you have finally achieved what all smokers want to achieve – you have become happy and a permanent non-smoker. When smokers try to quit using methods other than hypnosis, many experience sadness and depression.

This is caused by the feeling of losing the pleasure of smoking. *The beauty of hypnosis and the method we use in hypnosis is that we remove the urge and craving to smoke. You won’t need worthless remedies and expensive substitutes. No nicotine gum, no patches. No nasal sprays. All you have to do is visit us at Shinhypnosis, sit in a safe and cozy environment and relax.

SMOKING CESSATION GUIDANCE – BECOME SMOKE-FREE TODAY

If you find the thought of quitting smoking daunting or difficult, or you have experienced harmful effects from a previous quit attempt, it’s important that you talk to your own doctor who will help you plan your next attempt.

Quitting smoking takes faith and conviction. Many people who think about quitting smoking can’t imagine that they will reach a point where they will find it easy and think of it in positive terms. Therefore, you have to take a leap of faith to start the process. You have to believe that soon there will come a time when you can go a month without thinking about cigarettes or smoking, and then it will just be a passing thought that will quickly disappear. This may seem too good to be true – but don’t worry, people get there every day.

Sit down and pretend you’re a year in the future. You’ve quit smoking – you’ve forgotten about smoking and cigarettes. Make a written list of all the things that will be different and all the benefits you will see. Write down as many things as you can think of. It’s important in this exercise to be positive and not just negative. For example: instead of writing “I don’t want to be in bad shape” – write: “I will enjoy having better health and exercising three times a week”. There are tons of benefits to becoming a non-smoker – how many can you think of right now?

Consider going to a hypnotherapy session to help yourself quit smoking. Don’t go until you’ve spoken to a hypnotherapist who you feel is qualified and will be able to meet your needs. However, plenty of people have found *that hypnotherapy is a successful way to quit smoking, and the cost of a hypnotherapy session is likely to be no more than one or two weeks’ worth of cigarettes. Seeing a hypnotherapist is a cost-effective way to quit smoking.

Avoid substitution. You may be told that it’s good to have something else instead when you want a cigarette – maybe a drink or something sweet to eat. But you don’t have to do this. Smoking is not that important and there is nothing good about it, and you don’t need to replace it with something else. If you feel you need to do something else, choose something healthy and positive, such as going for a walk or running.

QUITTING SMOKING – HOW YOUR BODY REACTS WHEN YOU QUIT SMOKING

From day one, the risk of respiratory diseases decreases and after a few days you will be free of phlegm in your throat, cough less and have less shortness of breath. After 5-7 days, everything tastes and smells better, your breath is fresher, your teeth are cleaner and you have more energy. After one year, the risk of cardiovascular disease is halved. After five years, the risk of cardiovascular disease is the same as someone who has never smoked. After 10 years, the risk of lung cancer is reduced by about 50%.

Ex-smokers have a lower risk of throat, oral cavity and bladder cancer than smokers. They have fewer sick days. And they generally live longer than smokers – regardless of when they quit. Ex-smokers with stomach ulcers quickly get much better. Women who quit when they get pregnant have babies with the same birth weight as non-smokers. Ex-smoking women also reach menopause at a “normal” time, while smokers often do so 1-2 years earlier (Source: Danish Health Authority).

SMOKING CESSATION AND HYPNOSIS TAX DEDUCTIBLE

The new Finance Act contains good news for companies that want to help their employees quit smoking.

Smoking cessation courses were previously not recognized as a deductible expense. This meant that smoking cessation courses had to be declared to the tax authorities and employees had to pay tax on the money as if it was normal salary income.

But not anymore. Smoking cessation courses are now considered to fall under health promotion and companies are now allowed to pay for their employees’ smoking cessation courses. Click here to read more on SKAT’s site.

Marie has tried to quit smoking many times. See how it went in the video below.

*”It was the last thing I had to try because there was nothing else that could make me quit… It’s gone super well and beyond all expectations”

*Marie talks about her experiences with Hypnosis

*We emphasize that hypnosis and treatments do not guarantee smoking cessation and testimonials should be seen as individual results and that results may vary from person to person.
