In psychotherapy, it is said that you have to “break a resistance” (do something you don’t like) 100 times before you get the subconscious mind to understand that it needs to break habitual unhelpful patterns. In hypnosis and hypnotherapy, we work with psychotherapeutic tools while clients are in hypnosis, and together we can change behaviors, habits and patterns in a very short time. I love working with people, seeing their progress… Whether it’s an effective smoking cessation, social anxiety, aggressive behavior, pain relief or something completely different… It’s amazing to use hypnosis and see how quickly people make a lasting positive change in their lives.

Who am I? My own path to becoming a hypnotist.
I’m 60 years old and my name is a bit “motley”. It fits me and my life experience very well. I’ve been working with IT since high school. I was there from the start. First trained in operations, then networking, programming and machine coding in IBM’s mainframe computer world. I quit in 2002 when my body simply couldn’t cope with the workload. I had worked shift work for many years, with 17-hour days and 24-hour shifts without breaks, and I was a team lead on large projects. After a couple of years out of the workforce, I started studying to become a teacher while teaching in primary schools. Working with children and young people was wonderful.
The dream of working with children and young people was abruptly interrupted because my life changed radically when I was a passenger in a speeding car. It ended in a traffic accident. Afterwards, I couldn’t do anything, I had 100% memory loss. It turned out that my 5th and 6th cervical vertebrae were broken, so they were pressing on my spinal cord. I had surgery and got most of my mobility back, but it took me a number of years to become human again. Among other things, I had major problems with my memory because I had also suffered a small brain injury. Slowly but surely I got better, and I took the basic course at the psychotherapy school in Copenhagen. At the same time, I started reading about hypnosis and hypnotherapy, and several success stories were published about people with late brain injury who had benefited greatly from hypnosis and hypnotherapy. So I decided to take a hypnotherapy course. And in a very short time, I felt much better mentally and my memory started to improve day by day. I have really felt the positive impact of hypnosis on my own body and brain, and today I would say that my memory is actually better than it was when I was working at full speed in the IT industry and was stressed.
Now I had found my path. I made the decision to start training as a 5-PATH hypnotherapist and 7-PATH self-hypnosis instructor. And as an extension, I have taken the training as a DNS hypnotist with Shin Mads Aggerholm. So all in all, my “toolbox” is in order J I live and run a clinic on an abandoned farm with a couple of Icelandic horses, 1 white German shepherd, 1 cat, 9 chickens, and I have a small gamekeeping station for hedgehogs. Here the framework for helping others in my work as a hypnotist and hypnotherapist is optimal.
